  1. Thank you for guiding me through this! Sounds like a good plan! I'm just wondering how this fish thrived in the pet store for months before I bought her, and all of this comes out
  2. Alright! She is on day 4 of Round 2 and I'm doing the 5 day rounds.
  3. Do I keep the prazi in there? The antibiotics?
  4. Okay I'm gonna do this now. I do have epsom salt !
  5. Test Results for the Following:* Ammonia Level(Tank) 0 ppm * Nitrite Level(Tank) 0 ppm * Nitrate level(Tank) Between 0 and 5 ppm * Ammonia Level(Tap) 0 ppm * Nitrite Level(Tap) 0 ppm * Nitrate level(Tap) 0 ppm * Ph Level, Tank (If possible, KH, GH and chloramines) 7.4 * Ph Level, Tap (If possible, KH, GH and chloramines) 7.4 Other Required Info:* Brand of test-kit used and whether strips or drops? Api drops * Water temperature? 70 f * Tank size (how many gals.) and how long has it been running? 26 gallon, running for 9 days (seeded filter with cycled media) * What is the name and "size of the filter"(s)? Fluval c4, 264 gph * How often do you change the water and how much? Every 5 to 7 days, 50% to 80% * How many days ago was the last water change and how much did you change? 4 days ago, 50% * How many fish in the tank and their size? One fish about 1 inch (without tail) * What kind of water additives or conditioners? Prime * What do you feed your fish and how often? Repashy soilent green, bloodworms, saki-hikari pellets, peas. 2x a day * Any new fish added to the tank? Only fish in there * Any medications added to the tank? Salt at 0.3% along with Prazi (double dose). Added metro and kana once I saw the symptoms begin. * List entire medication/treatment history for fish and tank. Please include salt, Prazi, PP, etc and the approximate time and duration of treatment. Started salt at 0.1% concentration on december 22nd along with prazi. I increased the salt to 0.2% then 0.3% concentration over the next few days. At 0.3%, I double dosed the prazi. She is on round 2. She had a dose of metronidazole and kanaplex yesterday night. * Any unusual findings on the fish such as "grains of salt," bloody streaks, frayed fins or fungus? Started pineconing today, and is pooping very long white stringy poo...And I don't know if it could be related, but her belly changed from deep orange to white quickly. * Any unusual behavior like staying at the bottom, not eating, etc.? Was bottom-sitting yesterday, but not today. Still eating though...
  6. Then she is done with the meds! Yay Thanks a lot for all your help it probably saved my fishy! Her name will be Zula, and she will join the big girls tank once she finishes her prazi rounds
  7. Her poo is coming out as tiny pieces, if it makes sense. Is it considered normal? She eats like a little piggy and she is active as can be.
  8. Today was day 14 of being on metro and kana. There is no other symptom remaining other than the "mushy" belly (close to her vent). What do I do?
  9. The tank still looks too bare ... But I'm working on it
  10. Thanks!! Agreed Sure as soon as I can i'd be happy to They're definitely on the special side for me Thank you!!
  11. Thanks Lis Agreed. So far; sand, round rocks, and mesh over filter intake... I will add real plants soon. Thanks !!! Thanks
  12. Starting to poo green today Haha. Day 10 of antibiotics tomorrow and it seems like she's doing well
  13. Hi all When I set up my new 55 gallon, my plan was to sell my other tank (26 gallon). I put it on sale but no answers, so it's been hanging around... A little while ago (about 2 months), I visited my closest pet store and the man from the fish section showed me a tiny bubble eye, saying it was rescued by him twice. First time; the poor thing got stuck in the gravel vaccum, and he managed to get it out and surprinsingly, the ''bubbles'' under its eyes were still intact, few scales were missing only. Second time; the baby was sold to someone who brought it back soon after in a pretty bad state. For the past few months, every time I visited the store (which is probably a little too often ), I was offered this little one for free. ''It's still there! waiting for ya!''... Today, I gave in; went to the LPS 10 minutes before it closed and decided to take it home. My ''old'' 26 gallon is now up and running again, and this baby is now in its permanent (hopefully) home ... Anyone has a bubble eye? Any special advice concerning its care? I'd love to see pictures Wish us good luck! Thanks!
  14. Alright, she is starting to poo some broken-up tiny pieces. Not green yet, I'll keep feeding peas tomorrow
  15. Ahh oups, thought it was less than that for some reason. I feed Saki-hikari, repashy soilent green, peas, blood worms, brine shrimps, new life spectrum nutri gel. There is no filter on her Qt tank,as I change her water every other day (100%) and prime on the other day.
  16. Today was day 5 of kana + metro. She improved. No more bottom sitting is observable, she is active most of the time, she eats well. I don't see the transparent stringy poo, but not that much poo at all either? The soft belly is still present. How long can I go into the antibiotics? Is there anything I can do? Thanks
  17. Loving the colors! Both your telescopes are beautiful!
