  6. Hi, she is still the same. Everyone else is doing fine. shakaho suggested feeding duckweed. I might try to get my hands on some to see if it helps any
  7. I know what you mean. He bumped her like... knock it off..I don't want to keep eating peas because of you .. I have fasted them all for 3 days then gave them nothing but peas for the next 3 days when I saw her side swimming last week. Her wen is getting big, but her belly has been big for a while. I thought for sure she would have released eggs but nothing. I have seen her poop.

  9. I have only used a Python as well and I love it
  10. Video is up. I will be completing the D&D form when I return from getting my daughter from work.
  11. The video of Citrus. Let me know if it seems like it's skipping. When I viewed it, it did seem like it was. The D&D form is on it's way shortly http://vid40.photobucket.com/albums/e235/cdionne77/20150813_195537_zps86gufqyf.mp4 Not doing it that much because she she's me and thinks it's feeding time. But I have noticed that she side swims a lot which she never used to do, and every time it looked like she was going to tilt up, MoJo the blue oranda bumped into her almost like purposely or idk maybe I'm crazy
  12. I love using Koi Clay after W/C's . I never had a water clarity problem. It does make the water look cloudy and awful at first but once it clears it's crystal clear. My fish love eating it too when it's added
  13. Thank you for the input...Her wen is getting a lot bigger, but so is her belly. I will keep watching her to see what it is I can narrow down possible suspects until I can catch her in the act with a video. I have noticed she will side swim every now and again but I guess I will wait and see and hopefully get that video
  14. Citrus is actively swimming and I haven't noticed any floatiness yet. When I do, I will video it and fill in the D&D
  15. I definitely will when I get home from work Thanks Thanks Dawn
  16. Hi everyone, I know I have to fill out a D&D form but I am working a double tonight and have no way of filling it out as of yet but I will give you a run down of what I do know. Citrus my oranda is doing this weird headstand thing where she will rest and immediately start tilting downward and into a headstand position. I have noticed this once on her a few months ago but it was just a day and then everything was fine. My daughter just texted me and said she has been watching her mostly all night and she's been doing it again. She will then swim fine but as soon as she rests she will tilt. I saw citrus this morning no pine coning or prickly scales. I just recently upgraded to a 75g and I have 5 fish in there all 3+ inches from head to tail. The fish that were added were the to babies that were in QT for 5 months with 6 rounds of prazi before they were added. All 5 fish have been prazi'd in the last five months with salt I have an AC110 and a AC70 filter. W/C's are every 3 days 50% and it may extend to 4 days but not usually. I add Prime and Baking Soda and sprinkle koi clay at every water change. last W/C was yesterday 50% They eat 2 times a day and it's always different everyday as far as the food. NLS thera-A - Pro Gold - Repashy Soilent Green- Omega One sinking shrimp pellets -Peas- Hikari Lion Head and veggies. (broccoli is once in a while as I know it makes them gassy) so mostly dark greens and cucumbers. Frozen Brine shrimp and frozen blood worms once a month Meds I have on hand... I'll try to remember everything because I have a med cabinet chocked full. 1) Epsom Salt and canning and pickling salt 2) Seachem Metro and Kana 3) Metro Meds and the other that GF connection made (all unopened still sealed) 4) Melafix I probably have more but I can not remember at the moment. But I am an Amazon prime member and can get anything not available at my LFS ASAP She eats fine, actually she pushes everyone around to get the food so she is still very active and no other visible signs of distress . The last time I weighed her was a few months ago and she was just touching 100g She also has been very round belly wise and has not released any eggs for a good while but she always has been a big bellied girl but not for this long so idk if it's her just fat or not releasing eggs or what. I have a 10g tank not being used so I can QT her in that (gonna be a tight fit she's a beast) I have to dig it out of the basement and clean it up but that is what I have left. I won't be home again until late tomorrow afternoon. If I missed anything please let me know.. Thanks
  17. Very handsome! I love your background with the anchors. Pretty cool!
  18. Wow they are really nice fish. I never see anything like that in my area on CL
  19. Thank you Daniel I will tell him. When he saw him he was like MOM!!!! I think i'm going to pass out
  20. So my son who is 7 has a 20g long tank and he has been bugging me for a goldfish. I know darn well I would be the one taking care of it. So after work I took him to several of our LFS with no luck. Nothing just jumped out at him saying take me!! So I decided to drive a few towns over for one last try and BOOM he found "Sushi" a cute calico oranda BTW I didn't name him he did . He's an active little guy 38g and cute as a button. Has some red streaking in the tail fins but he is sitting in QT with .01% salt and in a few days will be starting prazi. I am currently seeding my sons 20g filter with my media and will be out of QT when I think he's good to go and done with treatment and 20 is fully cycled. But right now the QT sterilite tub is his new home for now... Ok enough of me boring you to death here he is!! Sorry the light on video is bad. I didn't want to disturb him so much while he settled in http://s40.photobucket.com/user/cdionne77/media/20150811_224253_zpsipwnjzmk.mp4.html Sushi has breeding stars He reminds me so much of Skipper in Oranda form
  21. Thank you My son calls the volcano, the ring of fire from the Finding Nemo movie
  22. I have an Oranda (Female) and a Ranchu (Male) and they do great together. If you decide that you would be putting them both in the 30 gal, I would just be very strict with large water change schedules, and they should be fine. Down the line as they get much bigger I would upgrade to bigger tank. 40 breeders are excellent. Welcome to Koko's by the way. Nice to have you here!
