  1. Pectoral fin is still blood streaked with the .01% salt over 24 hours... I will probably start a D&D in the morning if I don't see any improvement.
  2. I'd use salt with the new fish, but skip it with the fry. Thank you
  3. ok so I was going to do 4 rounds on the fry and the new fish with liquid prazipro, should I not use the salt? or just continue with how we were doing it before? or does it even matter either way...Ah just overloaded with allthe current info so I wanted to make sure
  4. This is good to know, I wanted to try canisters, the noise from my HOB are driving me crazy and I need some pure bliss right now
  5. Jared, the description says it only does 370GPH...you may need two of them lol
  6. Your welcome...I'm sure others will chime in on things I forgot to mention
  7. Also ceramic rings are great for media, anything in that idea. Aqua Clear filters are great and come with all the media and sponge if you choose that filter, just remember to ditch the carbon. Welcome back to the Goldfish world
  8. The filters should have a 10x filtration amount so if you are buying a 60 gal then no less than 600 gallons per hour on filters... also remember to get pure ammonia to start the cycle and a heater to bring temp to around 76-78 degrees.. Also ammonia should not get any suds when the bottle is shaken up, if it does it will not work
  9. No change on the pec fins yet but this little guy is swimming around enjoying himself .. He ate some frozen brine shrimp this morning and went crazy for it.. His little face was pretty priceless while eating
  10. Lol hopefully no ick lol but I know what you meant
  11. Awe I see shadow and velvet in your sig picture. Adorable!
  12. Oh no poor Puff. Hope she feels better soon
  13. The name is cute until he's not blue anymore I've seen so many blue Oranda's change colors lol... And I'm pretty sure I'm going to keep him. I'm just hoping I can get the fin problem resolved:) Yeah I guess so...But I named Icicle her name because she is white, and my Black Moor, when I get him/her, will be named Fudgesicle because it reminds me of dark chocolate. (Besides being named after my sicle theme ) They may not stay their original color either but oh well Whatever you name him/her it will be good, at least the poor baby was saved from being flushed. Fudgicle is such a cute name for a Moore can't wait to see him/her when you get it.... And yes Im happy I saved this little one from being flushed. I don't know how some people sleep at night really... It's so sad but it happens Thanks! I can't wait to go Moor Shopping Oh yeah I know I clicked on a 10 second long video that was titled "Goldfish's new bowl" and I was going to make a constructive comment nicely about goldfish and fish bowls and give Koko's website address....Turns out is was not a fish bowl it was a toilet bowl and they flushed a big comet Goldfish down that was still alive and swimming!! Of course I reported that video immediately! But there are too many more still on there Omg, people are so cruel. That's why I like my pets more than most people.

I don't know how some people sleep at night really... It's so sad but it happens Lol I meant fudgesicle.... My dad had one years ago. His name was midnight and he was huge, lived for many years. Broke my dads heart when he passed away, my dad said that Moore was the best fish he ever owned

  17. I give mine a variety of pellets which is hakari lion head, NLS and shrimp pellets also with veggies and bloodworms repashy soilent green gel food and peas. They love it and do well with the constant mix. You can always try adding new stuff slowly to see how they like it.
  18. Thank you, I am glad he is with me too. He's adorable and so sociable and is growing on me as I was trying not to get attached to him because of possibly re-homing him...I don't think this peanut is going anywhere
  19. A friend of mine knew someone who couldn't take care of him. Not sure if it's a boy or girl but calling him baby blue for now. Didn't come with a name other than fishy lol
  20. He is in a 20 gal and in a .01% salt solution as he has blood streaking in both pectoral fins. He's happy, swimming, and eating, but the blood streaking is freaking me out a bit. Anyway I will most likely do a D&D thread if I do not see any improvement in a few days with the salt. Blood streaked pec fin
  21. I was thinking the same thing Jared because that's how my male looked at first with his stars but I didn't want to chime in with wrong info
  22. Just saw that I had a message on my machine from my lfs manager getting back to me saying they don't take back fish w/o receipts LOL same issue the owner had when she called her lfs...like I said before dumbest thing ever!!! I don't want store credit I want you to save a fish's life ding bat
  23. Here is a pic of the bubble wall moved to the front...It actually looks better in person, because my camera sucks pretty bad... but they have longer ones to fit larger tanks as mine goes the whole length.... Your tank looks Amazing btw
