YES T_T, I regret buying those plants, I had to clean up lots of floating roots. But they said that these kind of plants are easy to grow so I will take a chance.Thank you for your answer! I'll try with that type of plants, hopefully they will survive. I removed all those floating plants 2 days ago, they are completely ripped off. Sent from my Nexus 7 using Tapatalk -

Alex confirmed that Vietnam tap water doesn't contain chlorine or chloramines, so the advice wasn't fishy after all! Actually the Water does contain chloramines :3 Yes, sorry for the confusion...it's possible that some water sources in VN do not contain chlorine or chloramines, but in a city of many millions, it would have been quite surprising. I'm surprised that the fish do that well with the water without conditioner. Makes me wonder how much chloramine is actually in the water. There is a large amount of chloramines in tap water and as much as everywhere in the world. But the thing is the fish sold at fish shop got used to it, cuz I think I saw tap water being pured dirctly into a goldfish tank and even I did to my goldfish for the last eight months but they turned out to be fine.

Wow that is exactly what happened to me, my ryukin pushed and chased little lionheads every morning so I had to separate them and put the lionheads in a different tank

Well not many people know about the proportion of fish and tank. I used to think that it's normal to put 5 goldfish in a 20 gallon tank too
