  1. Just and update: He's doing really well, the edges of his eye are kinda brown so i think that means it's healing. He's also getting better at finding food so i think he'll do fine in the main tank. Thanks for everyone's help and support!
  2. I've tried hand feeding over the last few days and he comes up to my hand no problem but the pellets i use are too small so he gives up after a while. Suggestions? His eye is also starting to heal around the edges! I'm so grateful for everyone's support and advice, this community is so nice
  3. Here he is today: His eye doesn't look as red in life as it does in the photo. I'll definitely try hand feeding him, thanks.
  4. He's acting pretty normally but having some trouble finding food. How long should i continue with the salt treatment?
  5. He's doing a lot better! Swimming normally, but having a hard time finding food. I'm worried about how he is going to do in my main tank.
  6. Just changed his water and upped the salt dosage. I think my local pet store has tri sulfa, i'll go pick some up when I can. He looks much better today. There is still a big gaping hole where his eye used to be, will it stay like that or will it heal over smoothly?
  7. Thanks so much for your help fantailfan1!

  9. I've just put him in another tank with an airstone. He seems pretty glum at the moment, but he ate some food. I feel soooo guilty. Where should I go from here?
  10. I am freaking out!!! I was changing my water and my butterfly telescope bumped into the siphon and its eye came shooting out into the sink! I feel so bad, I almost cried! What do I do?? Can it live a normal life? Ammonia, nitrate and nitrite are all zero.
