  1. They did not look fuzzy to me. They kind of looked like air bubbles. The edges were defined not wispy or fuzzy. I saw it, walked away for a few minutes and came back to look. There were fewer dots on my second inspection, that's when I took the video. Which Prazi schedule should I follow? Thank you!

See previous post about Oranda Oranda problem: http://www.kokosgoldfish.invisionzone.com/forum/index.php?/topic/114851-oranda-floating-on-his-side/ I have just noticed my Black Moor has little white spots that look like grains of salt. Please see the video of him posted below. I added a new fish recently, a black Oranda that had been in quarantine for six weeks. I treated him with one round of Prazi upon his arrival. He was from a reputable source and didn't exhibit any strange behaviors or have evidence of disease. I added him to the main tank about 5 days ago. Today I noticed the spots on my Black Moor. No other fish have spots. Is this Ich? If so, any ideas on where it came from? How shall I proceed? Thank you!
  3. I tried to hand feed but to no avail. He is in the same condition as the photos above. It has now been about 10 days. Is there anything else I can try? Is he in pain? Should I euthanize him?
  4. Hello, The fish is the same. He swims a bit when caught in the filter current but otherwise is motionless on the surface as described above. He hasn't eaten in a week! What can I do? Thanks!

None other than the subject of this post. My Oranda, Sir Smooch-a-lot, has been floating in the position pictured for six days. On the third day I moved him to a 10 gallon hospital tank and added Tetra Parasite Guard. The water parameters of the hospital tank are the same as above. I have done a water change daily. To the best of my knowledge, he hasn't eaten for six days. I have tried Medi-Gold medicated food and regular food but he can't get to the food. Here is a link to my posts from the summer detailing my problems at that time. I have not had any other problems since that was resolved. http://www.kokosgoldfish.invisionzone.com/forum/index.php?/topic/112380-red-fins-and-gills-septicemia/ Tpo View: Side View: Side View:
  6. Ok, I will watch for that. Thank you again for your help!!
  7. Ok. How active should they be? I don't recall how active they were before. Is it normal for them to be still in the water at times? Do you have a video of your fish for comparison?
  8. Ok, I will. Thank you so much for your help!! What signs of illness should I keep an eye out for in the next few weeks?
  9. In that video it is hard to see that the fins are still red, I will post some pics of them in the morning when there is better lighting.
  10. Hello, I am on day 13 of the treatment schedule, between rounds 2 and 3. I have a video update of the tank. I tried to zoom in on the fish with the red streaks in their fins. As you can see in the beginning of the video they don't seem very active. I have seen the big white oranda, Alby, hanging near the bottom of the tank, scooting along the bottom and rubbing himself against the bottom/decorations. I have also observed the black moor, Bugsy, sitting still on the bottom at times which is a new thing. Occasionally when he is sitting the other fish harass him. I'm wondering, are they getting better? http://s1280.photobucket.com/user/patchworkbanana/media/MAH00007_zps68cdf5ef.mp4.html Thanks for your advice!
  11. Thank you!!! I will start round one of Prazi in the morning. I'll post a video update after round one.

  13. I'm having trouble posting the video, will try again in the morning.
  14. Right now there is no medication or salt in the tank. I just did back to back WC to remove the Tetra PG. The food is the Medi-Gold. I am refilling the tank as I type. I will post a video as soon as the tank is full.
