  1. Hello, last time ive post for Ipou Dnalex help alot. My fantail goldfish, oldest one is doing really bad. She has one pop eyes for at least 3 months now. I didnt worry much has I’ve been told that it could be just a pocket of air behind her eyes. She also been moving alot less for 6 months, have a hard time not staying at the bottom, she can’t swim ,she just move with her belly, but ive attribute it to her age. 6 days ago a part of her tail bled and the next day the part where it bled fell down. The problem is since 2 days she had her dorsal fins staying low and shes abit laying more on one side of her body. It looks like her body his shutting down, she actually looks sad, she still comes to see me and stays close to me ( i caress her through the window, i know sounds weird but she seems to like that, i have a bond with her, she used to do spiral when i was coming to see her like a wagging dog🥰) she seems very bloated..Did I misinterpreted her age for a disease? Is it too late? I have 150 gallons with her and 8 of her babies that are about five years now. she also have just notice now one small clear bubble on her tail...she is so bloated and looks overweight. Ive put a picture that shows her blottiness, low dorsal fin and pop eye. I’ve added salt 30 teaspoons just an hour ago. Ive ordered metroplex, kanaplex and prazipro in case I would needed. Ive been feeding my fish green peas for 2 days Crossing my fingers thanks
  2. Thanks koko, He was really happy to get a pellets! I guess he has to live alone now in a different tank. Is it ok that I put a fish with him once in a while for a couple of hours or that will stress the other fish. So he's not so lonely. Anyhow , hes actually more straitght today
  3. H, He's the same poor guy, he was a bit better for a week but now it seems harder for him to get up. He's always interested in food and happy when I look at him...swimming and coming to me but as soon I"m gone he's on a corner on its side. You can tell by looking from up that his body is longer on one side(left) at the end (where his tummy should stop it continue) ...maybe air or poop stuck internally? 1-How long can he lives like that, is he suffering? 2-I still only feed him peas and duckweed, is that sufficient for his need? 3-any other suggestion?
  4. Thanks, I will do this for a week and see how it goes! I don't think if it's for a week they're will be an overuse as if I would follow the protocol for 30 days. Only people that had result with it could probably debate about this protocol and that is not my case. Thanks for both of your view Koko and Mjfromga
  5. umm i dont' get it! Day 1: Big WC (>50%), add Prazi. This is the beginning of Round 1. Day 5: Big WC (>50%), This is the end of Round 1. I don't see Day 2: Day3 Day 4: WC so how is it everyday? quote <<if you follow this you will be being water changes every day >>
  6. Just to remember I don't have any filter at the moment, I probably should put it back if I have to change the water only 4 days later right?
  7. Whn changing the water(90%) should I put again prazi ? fish always the same, happy to see me eat his peas but then on its side or upside down relaxing. He does have some green poops, and diarrhea?
  8. about 3 weeks ago only one doze with the others
  9. Koko should I try the garlic and bloodworm? 1 clove of crush garlic added to 1 cube of bloodworms?
  10. He's back on his side when I'm not wiht him. Should I stop his medication? (metro in water and in his peas mix with duckweed. I was taking picture with my IPAD but it died last week on me. My phone probably won't show you anything clear. I do have another camera , just got to find the charger. What should I feed him, he probalby can't survive only on peas and duckweed right? one side of hi body is still longer, that seems to me that his still blocked. Top of head abit paler like white but no spot just paler.
  11. Thanks mjfromga for the information on temperature. Ive already did since my last post He's still swimming or staying in one spot not upside down anymore soooo that's good! his belly still looks swolling but I guess if he can swim he's better. :)
  12. What's the lowest it can go? In the winter it gets pretty cold here in Qc Canada, and the aquarium that I can't move is close to the wall facing outside.
  13. The heather was too close to the aquarium and i forgot to put a timer sorry I've explained myself pretty bad in the other post..I did mention I couldn't put a heather inside but didn't explained that I put one out of the tank.
  14. No it's a heather out of the tank because at night the temperature goes below 70 degrees if I don't do that. And I've thought the temp should be abit higher when sick and was giving metro.
  15. Don't want to get my hope to high but he's not upside down today...I had a bad night, I thought I've killed him for a minute when I forgot to turned the heather off for 3 hours and it went to 90 degrees..I ve changed half of the water till it went to 81..I know still too hot but didn't want him to go in shock..my god I've felt terrible. I can't put a normal heather in the tank as it's too big for half of a 10 gallons and usually I set it up for half an hour but forgot to set it up. but waking up he's not upside down!!! He still off balance but so much better..can't tell you how happy I am. Did he manage to eat duckweed? Still dont see him eating it so I've decide to mush it with the peas today.
  16. Thanks Michele, i really wish he was but he's more weak
  17. Ok got it but he seem not that interested because it floats? ive bought also daphnia as the fish place told me even though veggies are the best Daphnia could help push trough what's stuck in his tummy..I won't put it unless duckweed doesn't work after a couple of days. Maybe I could mix that with garlick and duckweed at one point?
  18. After calling 12 places no kidding, I've found one that sell duckweed ..most of them told me they got rid of it because it's too invasive and one told me they don't have any because it's not the pond season.. going now to get some..i also have bloodworm and garlic in hand.
  19. Thanks koko for helping me with the other tanks, I've change the water again yesterdy and again 2 teaspoon of soda..
  20. My concern is orange crush is in the quarantine tank and not improving but not really guetting worst, what should I do with him? hes mostly completely upside down 80 % of the time until he sees me than he start swimming. the metro doesn't seem to do anything, he poos very small bit at a time green from the peas. I only feed him two medicated peas per day. One side of his body is longer and hard square looking like the food is stuck there. I change the water every second day what is the prognostic? What can I do ?
  21. Here's the ph of my tap water after 24 hours wow too bad the log does that
