  2. YAY! I was a bit worried, partly cause of the poo filled water he came in. Glad it’s just unique fins not fin rot. So Thanks. Yes and no, I just got a tetra 50watt heater but is doesn’t heat like it says it does. so I am returning it…… I like the prices on Big Al's and DrsFosterSmith, but I would like to get one sooner rather than later. So I am going to see if before my family and I go to a movie tonight, if we can stop at petsmart.
  3. even with the black tips on his tail? Black tips are probably coloration. Fin rot is when the fins fall off of the betta and is left on the floor. kk.... any thoughts on the heater! I am terrible at heaters. lol kk I shall wait than

  6. Merry Christmas! so my Heater has died and I did not get aqueon pro today. so I really really need a new heater for my ten gallon-my betta, Salvador Dali is about to going into my 1 gallon for fin rot treatment(aquarium salt and the only heater I have, a little under gravel one,a 1-3 gallon tetra filter and no substrate). the aqueon pro 50w is a little more than i can afford. so.... here are my question....... what is the maxi watt heater can I use in a ten gallon? how do you fill about tetra's submersible heaters? Fin rot question- is this fin rot and is it healing? <a href=" title="fin rot ? by SunieFish, on Flickr"><img src="http://farm9.staticflickr.com/8497/8307458051_13cd35aa35_b.jpg" width="1024" height="683" alt="fin rot ?"></a> <a href=" title="fin rot ? by SunieFish, on Flickr"><img src="http://farm9.staticflickr.com/8498/8308510018_ef997e3396_b.jpg" width="1024" height="683" alt="fin rot ?"></a> <a href=" title="fin rot ? by SunieFish, on Flickr"><img src="http://farm9.staticflickr.com/8501/8308515410_a0cd6dca42_b.jpg" width="1024" height="683" alt="fin rot ?"></a>
