  1. I can't remember how much she weighed but last time she was on the meds she was being fed 64 pellets a day. I've just been feeding her that as I don't believe she's grown much and I no longer have a scale.
  2. Alright, let's continue metro meds then? How many days can she have them?
  3. Upddate: She's at 14 days on MMs and still is pineconed and upside down. The good news is she has been eating. Never been so psyched to see poo before. Should I continue feeding them? Switch to medi gold? She just doesn't appear to be getting better or worse. =/ Pictures and video as always very soon.
  4. Thanks guys! Here's the pictures. Video is uploading now.
  5. Sorry for the double post. My phone resent the post. Feel free to delete one. Thanks.
  6. Test Results for the Following: * Ammonia Level(Tank) 0 * Nitrite Level(Tank) 0 * Nitrate level(Tank) 0 * Ammonia Level(Tap) 0 * Nitrite Level(Tap) 0 * Nitrate level(Tap) 0 * Ph Level, Tank (If possible, KH, GH and chloramines) 7.4 * Ph Level, Tap (If possible, KH, GH and chloramines) 6.2 Other Required Info: * Brand of test-kit used and whether strips or drops? API drops * Water temperature? 72* * Tank size (how many gals.) and how long has it been running? 15 gallon tub filled to 10 gallons about a week filter free * What is the name and "size of the filter"(s)? None * How often do you change the water and how much? 100% daily * How many days ago was the last water change and how much did you change? Today 100% * How many fish in the tank and their size? 1, 5" without tail * What kind of water additives or conditioners? Prime and baking soda * What do you feed your fish and how often? Regularly she gets new life spectrum goldfish pellets but she is currently being fed 1% her body weight in metromeds daily. This is day 8. * Any new fish added to the tank? No * Any medications added to the tank? No * List entire medication/treatment history for fish and tank. Please include salt, Prazi, PP, etc and the approximate time and duration of treatment. She has always had floaty tendencies. She has taken mms successfully twice in the past per recommendation of mods here but all that was at least a year ago or longer. She has had prazi rounds every six months since I've had her. Other than that just a floaty fish. * Any unusual findings on the fish such as "grains of salt," bloody streaks, frayed fins or fungus? Currently a small red dot on her underside and some rubbing marks on her dorsal fin because of resting on it at the bottom of the tank * Any unusual behavior like staying at the bottom, not eating, etc.? She stays at the bottom, is swimming upside down when she chooses to move, lays upside down, is not eating, and is presenting with pineconing as of yesterday. Flopsy is swimming upside down nearly all the time as of about 10 days ago. As she does this frequently I didn't think much of it just fed some peas one with a grain of Epsom salt and thought it would pass. When it didn't I moved her into a sterilite tub and began watching her for two more days. She showed a little spot of raised scales where she'd been resting so I decided to go ahead with metro meds to see if it would help. Today is day 8 and she has just started to pine cone all over as of yesterday afternoon. I have metromeds and medi gold on hand as well as salt and Epsom salt. Please help me. I love this fish. She's already been through so much as you have seen in the past. I just want her to be happy. Video and pictures soon. Thank you all so much.
  7. thanks =) he seems fine for now i just hope it doesn't get worse with time. I watch and make sure he does get food and he always does. I think Demo knows it takes him more time and leaves him to it haha
  8. oh i wouldn't do it unless someone told me to (someone being you)
  9. Can anyone confirm that epsom salt can do this? If so I'll be on it like white on rice.
  10. Will try for better pictures later. But as you can see... his mouth is sealed shut on the left and opens only a little on the right. Poor boy.
  11. hi everyone =) I'm sure some of you saw my general discussion thread about little Bill's mouth deformity. Bodoba suggested I start a D&D thread for him so here it is =) * Ammonia Level(Tank)0 * Nitrite Level(Tank)0 * Nitrate level(Tank)0 * Ammonia Level(Tap)0 * Nitrite Level(Tap)0 * Nitrate level(Tap)0 * Ph Level, Tank (If possible, KH, GH and chloramines)7.6 * Ph Level, Tap (If possible, KH, GH and chloramines) 7.0 Other Required Info: * Brand of test-kit used and whether strips or drops?api drops * Water temperature? 80* * Tank size (how many gals.) and how long has it been running? 30 about 9 months * What is the name and "size of the filter"(s)? 12. I suppose I will then. Thank you =)
  13. I did the regular 5 day rounds for 5 cycles when he was about three months old. Have not repeated since.
  14. He seems super happy despite his mouth being like that but I'd like to see him have an easier time with it if possible. =)
  15. Hey everybody =) Not sure if maybe I should have put this in d+d but it isn't an emergency so I figured here was better. If not, move me =) So, the question I've got is about Little Bill's mouth. His jaw was broken by flukes (guess, not sure but I think that's what happened) when he was a small fry. He has been able to eat and function pretty normally until recently. He is still eating it's just... clearly difficult. Over half of his mouth is pretty much sealed up/or cannot function. Is there a way to do a surgery on him to correct this? I don't think this is life threatening as he can still take in food but it would certainly improve his quality of life to be able to eat normally. Thanks for your input! I'll post some obligatory pictures shortly.
  16. they're so gorgeous! thank you so much for the video!
  17. Buried her just now. I felt terribly leaving her all day just floating there in her small bucket but I had to rush to make it to work on time. She's out front by the garden near where we buried Lucas. RIP little one. I loved you soooo much.
  18. They are all from any number of batches of fry ranging from batch 1 to batch 11... they vary in age by about 3 months at the greatest span. They all look so great! Thank you so much for such prompt updates!
  19. I do have all of those things. Unfortunately they will do us no good. She's moved on. Poor little Junebug. She didn't stand a chance this post really was me being hopeful. =( Rip little June Carter.
  20. Hi everyone, I know it is more than likely that this is going to turn into an obituary but just now my cat came in my room while I was in the bathroom... and plucked June my bala shark out of her tank and batted her around the room. She is still alive at the moment but in terrible shape. In the event she ever flips over and begins to swim... how do I save her? I've got her in a 5G bucket with a bubbler because it is all that I have. There is no heater but it is about 75* in my room. Hopefully that is okay for her for now. Poor little fish. She's scratched up really badly. I have no pictures but if she comes out of it... I'll post some. If not we'll say goodbye and I'll yell at my cat more than I already did I just can't even believe this is happening.
  21. squeeee!! I'm so happy they made it!!!! <3 <3 thank you so much for giving them the best home they could ever have!
  22. Yay! I know a few of them were still pretty tiny. They are the youngest of the bunch. I think only 4 months old or so.
