  1. I like it! Your tank looks great. The pictures made me lol!
  2. Yeah, I just realised that I posted it twice. Thanks for your reply!
  3. Thank you Narny105! Your reply was really helpful.
  4. Oops, I posted this post twice! I don't know how to remove it.. please find my other one if you are willing to reply. Thanks!
  5. It would be great if you could post what products and equipment you found very good when caring for your betta fish. I've heard that Hikari Bio Gold food is the best food on the market. I've been researching a lot and I can't wait to get a betta fish (and maybe some ghost shrimp) after the summer holidays. I really want my future betta to life a long and healthy life. Any tips, tricks, suggestions, advice and experience is great too... anything about betta fish is welcome! Thanks in advance.

  7. Oh no. That sucks! Well thank you so much for telling me, I will definitely do something about that then. I feel ashamed of making so many mistakes with my first fish! oh well, I will find a way to fix these issues. I don't actually know what type of snail it is because it was sold to me as simply a "snail." But I'm pretty sure it's not an apple/mystery snail, it looks a lot different. Don't feel too bad! I started out really wrong with fish too. I had 8 goldfish and 2 common plecos in a 10 gallon tank - just with the difference I was already 28 years old then LOL We all have to learn first Thanks! I feel so much better now hehe
  8. Here's a picture. I finally found out how to post one.
  9. I was just observing my tank and my serpae tetra Zoran (or as I like to call him: Nip) has some white spots. Also Tesla, my neon tetra and Pan have a bit of the white spots too (but not as much as Nip.) Yes, I know that I will have to go to the pet store to get some medication for them but what should I do now? Should I separate them from the aquarium or simply leave them be? Thanks in advance.
  10. Gorgeous fish! Also, how did you put the pictures up? I read Koko's post on how to put up a photo but I don't understand it? (I lost her post)
  11. I recently tested the pH or my water in my fish tank (I use a Aquarium Pharnaceuticals pH TEST KIT for freshwater fish to test my water.) Anyways, today I checked it and I found out that the water in my tank is a tad too alkaline. It is around 7.6 (or over) pH and the colour is very blue. I need to even it out a bit so that it is nearer to a 7/neutral. I have heard of water softeners and sprays that can be used to neutralize the water. What should I use? Thanks in advance

  13. *I read Koko's post on how to put a picture up but I am still unsure on how to put one in this post. The site is not allowing me to put a link to it?* I am a beginner and I just want to get some feedback about this tank. Also, is it overstocked? It is 7.28 gallons and inside, there are: 2 neon tetras 2 guppies 1 koi swordtail 2 penguin fish 1 black molly 1 serpae tetra 1 snail And two other fish All of the decorations are fake just so you know. Thanks in advance.
