  1. I bought this guy 2 years ago and where thinking he is about 5 years old maybe older (he is 6 inches long and the size of a tennis ball so not a young fish), he was black/light silver as seen in the photo below Then this photo was of last year....he got a little more silver under that black but it was barely a change now this year there is a huge change. He only has black here and there, but still is a dark sliver, also got some gold stripping going on to on his head and back. Dont get me wrong he is a beautiful fish, just has me scratching my head.
  2. haha love it made me laugh and made my day
  3. I had fake plants in there at one time, they all got removed when one of my bigger glodfish got hung up in the plant and the others started eatting him. After that all plants have been removed I have 6 goldfish in the tank, there are 3 extras in the tank till my sons tank is fully set up again. His tank sprung a leak and needed repairs so his fish are living in mine till his tank is safe for the fish This is 100gl tank
  4. Im a big fantasy nerd , I also have the large 2 part ship wreck that I would use to swtich out when I want something different. Have yet to get a video of that one though.
  5. love the fish named Nessie, so beautiful!
  6. My friend came over with her HD camera and recorded my tank for me. Really long flim which is nice to set back and watch when im not home to enjoy it! I also removed all the plants in the tank and replaces the stones with sand which the fish seems to love. Enjoy!
  7. so thats the breed he is! I could not guess what breed of goldfish he was thanks! Im not sure about the name I have a passion for the Friesian horse breed and I needed a cool studio name so I slaped Fury on it haha
  8. Im sorry I never have bought a test kit, I have always taken in the water to get tested. When I squeezed him he did feel kinda like a balloon

  10. I have a HUGE goldfish called Big Boss only problem im having and not to sure about it is, when he seems to get tired of swimming or rest he floats with his head pointing down towards the ground and butt in the air at the top of tank. He is not floating belly up and is not sunk at the bottom…so why is he doing this? To let youunderstand how big he is, he is just a tad bigger then a tennis ball, he is 3 ½ inches wide, 5 inches long from nose to tip of tail. When he is not resting or see's people or just wants to move he flips back to normal and swims normal. I also wanted to state his poop is tanish brown like all the other fish and is not clear or milky here is a photo of what im talking about
  11. So Big Boss aka BB is HUGE! He is just a tad bigger then a tennis ball, he is 3 ½ inches wide, 5 inches long from nose to tip of tail. I’ve had him a few days and his body mass is so big he almost looks like he has no fins. I am posting photos with him next to my longest fish and my smallest fish. My longest fish is 6 inches long from nose to tail tip and only 1 ½ wide, my smallest is 2 inches long. The only problem im having and not to sure about it is, when he seems to get tired of swimming or rest he floats with his head pointing down towards the ground and butt in the air at the top of tank. He is not floating belly up and is not sunk at the bottom…so why is he doing this? The size of theses photos is about the size of him in real life BB next to my longest fish BB next to longest fish and smallest fish BB and smallest fish BB and a dwarf frog
  12. very nice decor makes me feel that its not a tank at all
  13. there both very lovely and beautiful
  14. Thanks for the impute. All my fish I have had together for 4 to 5 years now with no problems from any of them and they have always been at 70 to 69 degree water tempt till now which is now set at 74. The other fish that are not goldfish have always been active so there habbits never changed in the water tempts, it was the goldfish. Its been almost a week since I post this and things seem to be fine at that temp and everyone seems happy!
  15. Info of my tank 90gls in a well warm area holds fancy goldfish, plecos, dwarf frog, Emerald Green Cory, abino cory and guppys sand for the floor no plants I have notice as it gets cold out side my tank stays at 69 degree which is pretty normal for a fancy tail gold fish to live in and what I have always left it at. The problem is they all hoover around the heater, like we do around a camp fire. So for kicks to see if something would change I turned the heater up to 74 degree, took a few hours to warm such a large tank. When I got home the fish where no longer hoovering around the heater but swimming and being active. They have been like this for the past few days at a steady 74 degree. Im not sure if im comforable with it at that temp so Im seeking help here. Should I lower the temp back? Would that temp be safe for teh fish? I know with warm water the fish "their metabolism requires increased amounts of oxygen (as the water holds LESS oxygen with increasing temperature) and even more food which leads to a very messy tank and poor water quality." But there not as active they do rest by the heater for a few hours and go back to swimming. I tend the water all the time so thats not a problem either.
