  1. Thanks for offering that Koko, but I am going to decline. I understand that I made the purchase at my own risk. I have seen this thread: http://www.kokosgoldfish.invisionzone.com/forum/index.php?/topic/44143-buyer-beware/
  2. There's an email listed under her profile, have you tried that? She's been active on kokos today. Hope you guys can get it sorted! Yes, Chris and I have been corresponding by email the entire time. I also tried PMing her on here just now, but it says "this member cannot access the PM system". I think it's because she doesn't have enough posts yet. How frustrating that she's been active on the forum, yet won't respond to us either in this thread or by emails. :/
  3. There is no way to leave a review on Etsy unless your transaction took place through it. The ones she made for forum members here (with the exception of the red cap that was pre-made) were not through Etsy unfortunately.
  4. That telescope was supposed to be for me Koko. Chris never sent it. She just kept making excuses, or saying she would ship it in a few days, or saying she had to put the finishing touches on it. But now it's been over a month since I've heard from her last and this is just ridiculous at this point... so I finally asked her to refund my money and cancel the order. No response. So I disputed the payment on Paypal, but I don't think there's much Paypal can do in this instance.
  5. Well I don't know what the heck is going on. Chris never sent me the plushie I paid for. I emailed her several times and she kept saying she would send it out in a few days, or she had to put the finishing touches on it, or something like that. Now she's not even responding to my emails. It's been weeks and I haven't heard anything. Guess I just threw $28 in the garbage... not happy.
  6. That's a gorgeous red/white butterfly tail telescope. But it does not have a tosakin tail. Plenty of butterfly tails tend to curl a little bit at the tips when the fins grow longer, but that's definitely not the only trait that makes a tosakin tail.
  7. They are beautiful! Best wishes for an uneventful quarantine!
  8. He's very pretty! I like his fins.
  9. They're beautiful Hidr! And that's a really cool tank shape too.
  10. I always enjoy your photos. Good job!
  11. Nice! They all look happy and healthy.
  12. It's beautiful Carole! Your fish have gotten so big too!
  13. Thanks Narny, I'm hoping the photos will be even better with the new light bulbs I'm getting soon! As it is now I have to drag over a couple floor lamps to get enough top-down light for clear photos, lol. My camera is a Canon Eos Rebel T4i.
  14. Thanks Allison! I saw your thread about that, your tank with the white sand looks awesome. When/if I ever get bored of black sand I might have to try that one. Thanks Sara Jo! Yeah, they have grown a lot, I'm so proud of the little guys. Thanks Dee Dee! Thanks Rojo! I just ordered the lights today, hopefully they'll get here next week. Thank you Shelly! I think sand mixed with crushed coral would look really awesome. Post pics if you do it! Thank you Becs! Yeah, I think it's been almost a year that I've been considering it. lol As you can tell, it wasn't that high on the priorities list. Thanks! Thanks Carole! Thank you Lisa.
  15. Ah, you're right she does! haha Thanks. Thanks! Yes, I did! Good catch though, I didn't film that part. Thanks DJ! I'm glad that some people like watching my videos because I love making them. Thanks Narny! It was the little packet of water clarifier that comes with the sand. Thank you Chelsea! Thanks Hidr, and you should! Pics if you do please! Interesting how adding more stuff can make the tank seem bigger, huh? Yay, another convert to the telescope club! haha Oh gosh yeah, it would be pretty tough to see black fish in a tank with this sand, lol. I don't know if I saw a photo of your tank yet, have you posted photos somewhere? I was surprised too! I might get another bag at some point to cover up the silicone edge at the bottom of the tank. But for now it works! I've never seen any breeding activity whatsoever from Callisto, and I'm still unsure whether "she's" a male or female to be honest, lol. My other three are males. I don't think she'll be having any fry sadly. :/ Thanks motherred!
  16. So I decided to just make a slideshow with all the new photos since there are so many and I didn't feel like putting the watermark on and uploading each individual one. Plus I found a pretty song I wanted to use, so why not?! There's a link to the song in the description section of the video if you want to hear the whole thing. These photos were taken a few days ago; before I put the new decor in the tank.
  17. I can definitely tell they've grown! They look great.
  18. Ken moved the auction from Goldfish Connection to his own website. http://www.kokosgoldfish.invisionzone.com/forum/index.php?/topic/108581-dandy-orandas/
  19. Hey everyone, just an FYI about Dandy Orandas, since many of us have been wondering why there haven't been any new auctions in the past few weeks. Ken has moved the auction from Goldfish Connection to his own website now, and I heard from another forum that the first auction on the new site will start March 29th. If you want it looks like you can go to the new website and register now to be ready for bidding in future auctions. http://www.dandyorandas.com/
  20. I made a few changes to my tank decor today, and I like the results! I think it looks better in person than in the video. When I look at the videos and photos I'm a little disappointed, but then I go look at the real thing and I love it. lol Soon I'll be getting new tank lights, so I'm going to make a better video showing it off after that. Right now my lighting is not very good because most of the light bulbs burned out. Anyway, the fish seem really excited about their new scenery! They keep going around grabbing mouthfuls of sand and chewing on it. To skip the blabbing, just start the video @ 6:18. Oh! And this is just one 20lb. bag of Tahitian Moon Sand! It was surprisingly enough to cover the bottom of the 75g tank. And I anchored the plants by tying suction cups to them with fishing line and suctioning them to the bottom glass.
