  1. I love the Orange and white one the most. He is just to funny. Are you going to do a live planted tank or just fake plants.
  2. As long as you didn't clean out the medium in the filter you should still have your cycle. Just test your water and you will find out Do you have an air stone. You can plug that in and it will give you more O2 in the tank. I have always used Prazi and Prime together and never had an issue with it. Also salt you can buy Pickling salt. I use Morton's Canning and Picking salt. Its so much cheaper in the long run.
  3. They look cute. 🥰 Are you looking for just girls or boys or one of each? Just wonder NO WAY! That is way way to small for those kinds of fish. They breed like rats. 😮
  4. Yes you would. Platies and swordtails can breed together.
  5. Yup it would be since they would reproduce like rabbits. You wouldn't be able to keep up with them.
  6. What do you mean not that bad? Fill this out, it will help us to help you Please copy & paste the following form and fill it out to the best of your ability when requesting help for Goldfish Problems: Test Results for the Following: Ammonia Level(Tank) Nitrite Level(Tank) Nitrate level(Tank) Ammonia Level(Tap) Nitrite Level(Tap) Nitrate level(Tap) Ph Level, Tank (If possible, KH, GH and chloramines) Ph Level, Tap (If possible, KH, GH and chloramines) Other Required Info: Brand of test-kit used and whether strips or drops? 7. Pretty good. It's only 100F here, but other than that good. How abouts you? lol Oh boy! bitten by the goldfish bug lol. I wish I could have fish outside, but due to Raccoons and opossums, we can't do that at all. The raccoons will trash anything we leave in that backyard. Its like they have a party back there. ROFL I can't wait to see them
  8. I would defiantly get your water tested out or get a test kit 👍
  9. That can happen ROFL Oh good, cause 6.6 is on the low end and can cause whiteness on the fish. Basically burning there skin. 😮
  10. Well the only thing I can think of is. Trying to clean those things out. But that would require Nuking the tank. I don't know if he could handle that. 😮
  11. Oh and it just hit me in the face... Your Ph is very low. We need to get that a little more to the 7.0 range. Can you find crushed coral or a Wondershell?
  12. I would continue the Prazi-pro first. If the white is still there you can add aquarium salt to the tank as your doing the Prazi. I would be more worried about Parasites than the white spots right now. ☺️
  13. Could that have come with the snail? Dang those don't look like they should be in that tank 😮 Have you tried salt?
  14. If you can find it. Get some Duckweed. That will normally clean out the fish and help with SBD Im so glad they are doing great!
  15. Well hun. How large of a tank are we talking about? Are you looking into getting a Big Canister filter? Have you ever thought about a Sump?
  16. and I agree with @spider man I had 2 goldfish in my 40 breeder tank and I can say when they got to there full size, they looked kinda cramped in there. If I could I would have upgraded to a bigger tank or a pond. But welcome. I know in times like this it sucks that forums are going down. We are trying to stay up and running. 🤗 It's not that bad here lol 🧐🤣

  19. Hey guys Welcome to the NEW Look. 😮
  20. and It looks to me like the fins are repairing themselves. I would keep up on the water changes. If it starts to get bumpy looking. Then I would think of adding some Medication to the tank.
  21. Yup the forum went through a upgrade. There are some really cool features now.... Look around.
  22. A Photo would help a lot. It shouldn't be an issue though.
