Today I bought some cuties. A quirk about me, when I see a product I can associate the commercial to it. My girlfriend hates it because I've got lots of jingles in my head when we go to the grocery store :P

Ricki liked the cuties, Lucy barely touched it. They are both gaga over green beans. Today I bought the kind from the produce section, heated a couple up in a bowl of water in the microwave for a few minutes. Opened up the pod, mashed the beans, and served.

Going to do another large WC, and blanch some romaine lettuce and put it on a clip and into the aquarium.

Tonight, fed a tiny bit of banana - they didn't let it touch the bottom of the aquarium. lol. Going to feed a bit of cucumber and a piece of kale for over night.

Edit: They weren't as enthusiastic about the cucumber. Maybe I didn't slice it thin enough? I cooked it in water, in the microwave for 4 minutes. Maybe not long enough?

They seem to like the Kale, but not as much as the Romaine lettuce. :)

Fruits are great occasional treats, but don't give them too much...too much sugar :)

I'm glad you are having fun experimenting with different foods for your fish. It makes for happier and healthier fish for sure!

Try a slice of orange as an occasional treat. My guys love it, it makes a bit of a mess though, so it's a good idea to feed it before a water change :)

I hope I'm only giving them a taste is all. To me it doesn't seem like much, not much bigger than a few pellets.

I will have to try that! I tried cuties, which are sort of like miniature oranges/tangerines. But closer to the oranges (I think).
